Is the DAT strategy call actually free?
Yes, completely free, no strings attached. I do these calls because I'd rather spend 15 minutes figuring out whether I'm the right fit for you than have you enroll in a program that isn't. We'll go through your scores, your target schools, and how much time you have before test day. If AceTheDAT makes sense, I'll tell you why. If it doesn't, I'll say so.
I've already taken the DAT and didn't get the score I needed. Can DAT tutoring actually help at this point?
This is the most common situation I work with. Most of my students are retakers, and retakers usually aren't stuck because they don't know the material. They're stuck on strategy, timing, or execution errors that nobody has ever helped them spot. Bring your score report. The breakdown tells me a lot before Session 1 even starts.
What DAT score do I need to get into dental school?
It depends entirely on your school list, which is one of the first things we go through on the strategy call. Different programs have different averages, so where you need to land varies a lot. We'll look at your specific schools together so you're aiming at a real number for them.
How is AceTheDAT different from other DAT prep courses or tutors?
Most DAT prep hands everyone the same material and the same advice whether you're struggling with Bio or bombing PAT. AceTheDAT is built around your data instead. Can I get dental school application help without enrolling in the DAT program?
Yes. Farwa's application consulting, which covers the personal statement, the full AADSAS package, and interview prep, is available as a standalone service for students who already have their DAT score. Which package size is right for me – 15, 30, or 45 hours?
It comes down to where you're starting and when you need to test. The 15-hour package is for students with a real foundation who need focused help on 1–2 sections in a short window (4–6 weeks out). The 30-hour package is the most common choice, with enough hours for full practice test review cycles plus content gaps (2–3 month runway). The 45-hour package is for reapplicants, students aiming for a 470+ AA, or anyone who wants Foundation, Building, and Test phase coverage over 3+ months. We'll figure out which one fits on the strategy call.
Are DAT tutoring sessions online? Can I work with you from anywhere?
Yes, everything is remote. Sessions run over Zoom and the student portal is web-based. I work with pre-dental students all over the US, so you don't need to be in Chicago or anywhere near me for this to work.
