Is the DAT strategy call actually free?
Yes – completely free, no strings attached. I do these calls because I'd rather spend 30 minutes figuring out if I'm actually the right fit for you than have you enroll in a program that isn't. We'll look at your scores, your target schools, and your timeline. If AceTheDAT makes sense, I'll tell you exactly why. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that too.
I've already taken the DAT and didn't get the score I needed. Can DAT tutoring actually help at this point?
This is the most common situation I work with. Most of my students are retakers – and retakers usually aren't failing because they don't know the material. They're failing because they're making strategy, timing, or execution errors that nobody has ever helped them identify. Bring your score report. The breakdown tells me a lot before Session 1 even starts.
What DAT score do I need to get into dental school?
It depends entirely on your school list – and that's one of the first things we look at on the strategy call. Different programs have different averages, and where you need to be varies. We'll look at your specific schools together so you're aiming at the right number, not a generic benchmark.
How is AceTheDAT different from other DAT prep courses or tutors?
Most DAT prep is generic – the same material, the same practice tests, the same advice whether you're struggling with Bio or bombing PAT. AceTheDAT is built around a specific student's data. Every session starts with what your numbers say you need. You also get three specialists, not one tutor stretched across everything: I coach every section of the DAT. Sarah M. adds specialist depth on PAT and QR specifically – the two sections where focused methodology moves scores the most. Farwa handles your application when the time comes. That structure is the difference.
Can I get dental school application help without enrolling in the DAT program?
Yes. Farwa's application consulting – personal statement, full AADSAS package, interview prep – is available as a standalone service for students who already have their DAT score. If you've tested and you're ready to build your application, reach out directly and we'll figure out what you need.
Which program length is right for me – 4, 8, or 12 weeks?
The honest answer is it depends on where you're starting and when you need to test. The 4-week Targeted Boost is for students who have a real foundation and need to break through a specific plateau. The 8-week Accelerator is the most common choice – it's what I recommend for most students because it's enough time to actually build new habits, not just cram. The 12-week Maximum Score program is for students who want to leave nothing on the table and have the timeline to do it right. We'll figure out which one fits on the strategy call.
Are DAT tutoring sessions online? Can I work with you from anywhere?
Yes – everything is remote. Sessions run over Zoom and the student portal is web-based. I work with pre-dental students across the US. I work with pre-dental students across the US. You don't need to be in Chicago or near me for any of this to work.
